        Macram� artist Alberti, an Etsy top seller, incorporates many vibrant colors of cotton cord in her beautiful designs that range from earrings to large wall hangings. Her book includes clearly written, nonintimidating, step-by-step instructions and photographs, instead of symbol charts found in most macram� titles. While this may seem like a small thing, her approach makes a big difference for beginners. The book's supply list includes must-haves and nice-to-haves; both lists are short. She provides 12 patterns to create pot hangers, a coaster, wall hangings, a lampshade, a fruit basket, earrings, and even a disco ball hanger. Alberti's suggestions for colors and designs are amazing. One of the book's highlights is that she expertly explains how to make changes and customize creations. For example, readers will learn how to alter sizes or what to do if they miscalculate their yarn length and needs. VERDICT A must purchase for macram� collections.
