A Conversation on MODERN & Traditional Quilting • Defining what makes a quilt modern or traditional isn’t always clear-cut. To explore this topic in greater depth, in each 2024 issue of American Patchwork & Quilting® magazine, Joanna Figueroa, a traditional quilter, is holding a dialogue with a guest designer who favors a modern style. Additionally, each designer is creating an original quilt design based on the same classic block.
